PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has reported 6,144 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
This is an increase from the past five days when cases hovered around the 5,000 mark.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 2,608,979.
Meanwhile, the number of hospital admissions in the last seven days have declined by 2.9 per cent compared to the preceding week.
