KUALA LUMPUR: In a sudden turn of events, the second session of the fourth day of the special sitting of the Dewan Rakyat has been postponed to 3.30 pm.
“I am here to announce that the second session will start at 3.30 pm,“ Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said before she abruptly walked out. Opposition MPs who asked her the reason for the postponement were ignored.
A news portal had reported earlier that a number of cars were seen entering the private residence of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin(pix) in Bukit Damansara here.
This follows a strongly worded statement from Istana Negara on the revocation of the Emergency Ordinance.
