Covid-19: Two Malaysians treated and cured in Cambodia

PETALING JAYA: Two Malaysians who had tested positive for Covid-19 recovered after successful treatment in Cambodia.

The two men, aged 34 and 58 had tested positive in a cluster infection case involving four other Malaysians who all tested positive on March 19.

They received treatment at a hospital in Kompong Cham province’s Kang Meas district, according to a report in KhmerTimes.

They came to Cambodia after attending the tabligh gathering at the Sri Petaling Mosque at the end of February.

It is learnt they had travelled to Cambodia to attend similar smaller gatherings.

They were among a group of 13 Malaysians who were tested positive in Kompong Cham, Kampot and Kep.
