KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo (pix) has called on Malaysians to work together in developing the country to be more progressive and to ensure sustainable living, as the nation celebrates Malaysia Day tomorrow.
“I am very hopeful that the spirit to celebrate the National Day and Malaysia Day will be able to promote greater unity among the people of our country,” he said in a post on his official Twitter account and Facebook page today.
He also sent greetings wishing all Malaysians a Happy Malaysia Day.
The rhythmic beating of 300 traditional drums at Stadium Perpaduan in Kuching, Sarawak will set the stage for the national-level Malaysia Day celebration on Monday night. — Bernama
