Hajiji leaves GRS meeting venue

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Datuk Hajiji Noor (pix) was seen leaving the venue of the meeting among parties in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) at a hotel here today.

Hajiji, who is Sabah Bersatu chief, left the place at 1.45 pm, along with his deputy Datuk Masidi Manjun.

When asked, Hajiji however refused to give any details on the outcome of the meeting, saying that an official statement would be issued as soon as possible.

“No comment. Just stay calm. We are done discussing,” he said.

Soon after that, UMNO secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa was seen entering the meeting room.

Also spotted at the hotel were the seven newly-elected representatives of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).

Earlier, Sabah BN chairman and UMNO chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin also attended the meeting, together with several UMNO leaders.

As of 2 pm, the question of who will be the next Sabah Chief Minister remains unknown. -Bernama
