SHAH ALAM: Police have seized over RM700,000 worth of drugs after two separate raids in Shah Alam and in Petaling Jaya.

Selangor Deputy police chief DCP Datuk Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said on Aug 18, police raided a family entertainment outlet at Batu Tiga in Klang and arrested two women and a man for their suspected drug-related offence.

“Following the arrests, we subsequently initiated another raid in Setia Alam and arrested a man aged 42.

“The 42-year-old suspect was an e-hailing driver while the two women we initially arrested worked as guest relations officers and the other man was a customer in the outlet.

“Police seized 1,200 ecstasy pills from the e-hailing driver. The suspect then brought the police team an apartment where he stored 800 erimin 5 pills, 9,000 ecstasy pills and 500g of ketamine,“ he told reporters at the Shah Alam district police headquarters, here today.

Police have remanded the suspect for five days to facilitate the investigations.
