KUALA LUMPUR: A gang of seven men beat a man to death in a housing settlement in Petaling Jaya near here today, according to the police who said they have arrested one of the assailants.
The men dragged Dharma Dass Muniandy, 42, out of his flat at the People’s Housing Project in Lembah Subang at 7.20am and beat him to death at the parking lot, said Petaling Jaya District Police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din.
The assailants fled in a Proton Waja car, he said in a statement.
The police arrested one of the assailants this evening, he added.
Mohd Zani said Dharma Dass’ body has been sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. — Bernama
