PETALING JAYA: Sports Toto attained the World Lottery Association (WLA) Security Control Standard: 2016 certification in December last year, said Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd executive director Vincent Seow.
He said the certification is the only internationally recognised accreditation that validates number forecast operators worldwide.
The accreditation process was conducted by an independent international certification body.
“We are proud to have attained the WLA Security Control Standard as we strive to create a safe and secure business environment.
“We will work tirelessly to maintain the standard, trust and confidence bestowed on us by our stakeholders and customers,“ Seow said in statement.
He added that the credentials come with demands and assures that the company will continue to adhere to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013, an internationally recognised certification presented to firms that comply with its set standards.
Seow added that this affirms that Sports Toto meets the stringent requirements of international standards in establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and maintains security regulations set by the WLA, including lottery-specific security and integrity controls.
