BUKIT MERTAJAM: Not in the mood to go to work, a factory worker made a police report claiming that she was robbed of her personal documents and RM150 in cash, today.
Seberang Perai Tengah district police chief ACP Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said the 28-year old woman lodged a false report alleging that two men on a motorcycle had robbed her when she was on her way to work in Jalan Permatang Nibong, Kubang Semang, here at 6.40am.
He said preliminary investigation found that the woman had previously lodged three similar police reports but when asked to locate the scene today, she hesitated in showing the exact spot.
He said it was found that the false report was an excuse to escape from work adding that the woman has been detained for further investigation. — Bernama
