PARIS, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Olympique Lyonnais missed the chance to reclaim first place in Ligue 1 from Paris St Germain when they slumped to a 1-0 home defeat by Metz as their 16-match unbeaten streak ended on Sunday.
Karl Toko-Ekambi had a goal disallowed by VAR and Maxwell Cornet hit the woodwork for Lyon, but it was Metz who snatched all three points when Aaron Leya Iseka scored a minute into stoppage time.
The result left Lyon, who started the weekend top of the standings, in third place on 40 points from 20 games, two behind PSG and second-placed Lille after both won their weekend games.
Metz are in ninth place on 28 points. (Reporting by Julien Pretot; Editing by Ken Ferris)
