RECENTLY, a group of Malaysians were seen hitting the road for a 14-country journey to Mecca.

Fauwaz Zamzam, a pilot with a passion for adventure, isn’t letting his flying skills ground him.

He’s currently on an incredible journey from Malaysia to Mecca – with a twist!

Fauwaz who is documenting his travels on Facebook, sharing stunning videos of the scenery as he traverses countries in his trusty Proton Wira!

So far, Fauwaz has conquered Thailand, Laos, and China, and is now in Kathmandu, Nepal, gearing up for the Indian leg.

The journey hasn’t been all smooth sailing – a pothole surprise in Laos caused a tire puncture and rim damage.

But true to their adventurous spirit, the team fixed it up and continued their trek.

However, Fauwaz isn’t alone! He’s part of a larger group called the Malaysia-Mecca Friendship Journey, with 20 individuals traveling in a convoy of 10 vehicles, ranging from motorcycles to cars, including another Malaysian icon – a Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycle!

As of now, Fauwaz’s followers on Facebook are hooked, showering the team with well wishes for their safe arrival in Makkah and a smooth journey ahead.

This pilot’s adventure proves that the road less traveled can be an incredible one, especially when tackled with a trusty Proton Wira!
