BNM’s international reserves up 0.3% to US$103.3b

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) international reserves rose 0.3% to US$103.3 billion (RM432 billion) as at Oct 15, 2019 from US$103 billion as at Sept 30, 2019.

According to a statement by the central bank, the reserve position is sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and is 1.1 time total short-term external debt.
