BNM’s international reserves up marginally to US$102.9b as at May 29

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves stood at US$102.9 billion (RM438.54 billion) as at May 29, 2020, a 0.3% increase from US$102.6 billion as at May 15, 2020.

“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.1 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt,“ the central bank said.
