SELAYANG: The generosity of Malaysians was in full display when 300 people turned up for a blood donation drive here on Sept 8.
Organised by various interfaith groups from Desa Jaya, Kepong, Selayang Baru and Batu Caves, the event at Selayang Mall also offered free eye checks.
Two-hundred pints of blood were collected during this event, which was organised in conjunction with the National Day and Malaysia day celebrations, said the organising chairperson, Albert Anthony.
