KUALA LUMPUR: AmBank will open over 30 selected branches nationwide on two consecutive weekends to assist its customers who are facing financial constraints to apply for post-moratorium repayment assistance.
In a statement today, it said as the moratorium is coming to an end and borrowers will start their repayment beginning October 2020, Ambank is offering repayment assistance on weekends through Ambank Assist.
“The selected branches will be operating from 10 am to 3 pm in two categories; namely, branches with Sunday weekends on Sept 19-20 and Sept 26-27 and branches with Friday weekends on Sept 18-19 and Sept 25-26,” it added
Ambank said customers who wish to seek assistance are advised to bring their latest salary slips, or any supporting documents such as letter of termination of employment/salary deduction/unpaid leave or letter of oath.
