KUALA LUMPUR: As a measure to further improve its operations, the Foreign Workers Medical Examination Monitoring Agency (Fomema) is enabling employers to settle the medical examination registration fees for foreign workers, with Visa or MasterCard debit or credit cards.

In a statement today, Fomema chief executive officer said this new payment option is now available at all Fomema branches, and is an addition to existing payment options for manual registration at the branches, comprising a banker’s cheque or bank draft, money order and online payment via CIMB Clicks.

“The availability of Visa and MasterCard payments at all Fomema branches will definitely ease the process for employers who opt for manual registration,“ she said.

In reference to manual registrations at Fomema branches, employers will first need to fill up the medical examination registration form that can be downloaded from www.fomema.my. — Bernama
