PETALING JAYA: The 38-year-old suspect who had opened fire on his wife at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in the early hours of Sunday said he would need at least seven lawyers to represent him.

“I will definitely need many lawyers, or at least seven,” Hafizul Harawi was quoted as saying.

According to New Straits Times, he said that he would find the lawyers soon.

The suspect is believed to be brought to the Air Operation Force (PGU) Base in Subang Jaya at 2pm.

Police have obtained a seven-day remand order against him which was obtained at the Kota Baru magistrates court this morning.

The suspect was arrested at a location in Kota Bharu, around 3pm yesterday. Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed the arrest.
