KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo today held talks with animation industry players and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
He said the talks were held to understand the problems faced and to get feedback and suggestions on improving the processes and procedures related to the creative industry as well as animation film practitioners.
“The local animation works are now world class and Malaysia is on track to become one of the key players in the global creative digital content industry currently valued at US$2.4 trillion (RM10.04 trillion),“ he said on his Facebook and Twitter pages last night.
