Malaysians entering S’wak need to fill e-health form only: SDMC

KUCHING: Malaysians from Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Labuan no longer have to fill in the EnterSarawak form when entering the state, said the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

However, they are still required to fill in the E-Health Declaration form, it said in a statement today.

“For foreigners and Malaysians who are arriving or on transit from overseas, they still need to apply for and fill in the EnterSarawak and E-Health Declaration forms,“ it said.

Malaysians from Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Labuan who are entering Sarawak with their final destinations in rural areas far from health clinics providing facilities for taking Covid-19 samples would be quarantined in hotels.

“Samples will be taken on the second day and if the result is negative, they will be allowed to return home,“ it added.

Malaysians whose final destinations have facilities for taking Covid-19 samples would be required to wear a wristband and allowed to return home.

“Covid-19 samples will be taken on the second day at nearby health clinics. If the result is negative, they do not have to serve out the rest of the quarantine period,“ the statement said.

No new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state today, keeping the cumulative positive cases at 678 and death toll at 19. — Bernama
