PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s daughter penned a message on social media beaming hope to her mother, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor on her birthday following Najib’s arrest.
Najib was arrested earlier today by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the alleged tampering of the 1MDB audit report.
Najib was arrested soon after reaching the MACC headquarters at 11am.
In her post on instagram around 1pm, Nooryana Najwa said that it’s not been an easy day but nevertheless she is thankful.
“I know today is not the easiest day for us but let’s take a moment to thank Allah that we are all healthy, alive and still able to help others in need,
“Happy Birthday to my one and only Mummy. Love will get us through it all,“ she said.
She also attached a picture of Rosmah carrying her as a baby.
