PETALING JAYA: Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB) has announced that a portion of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge, commonly referred to as the Penang second bridge, will be partially closed from April 23 to April 25 for cable inspection work.

The affected stretch is from KM12.5 to KM18.5, with closures scheduled from 9 AM to 5 AM each day with contra-flow traffic measures to be implemented during this period.

In its Facebook post on April 20, JKSB stated the closure is necessary to facilitate cable inspections on the main span of the bridge, which will resume normal operations post-inspection.

“For further inquiries, emergency assistance, or the latest traffic updates, the public can contact the JKSB Hotline at 1-300-30-2828,“ JKSB added.
