KUALA LUMPUR: Police have detained two men and are hunting down another for alleged involvement in a robbery case in Sungai Chinchin, Gombak, near here last Saturday.
Gombak district police chief ACP Arifai Tarawe said the two suspects were detained in Gombak Setia yesterday following a police report lodged by the victim.
He said police also seized two motorcycles - Yamaha 135LC and Honda EX5 - and a bunch of keys from the suspects.
“Police are still tracking down the suspects’ accomplice, known only as Alif who is still at large,” he said when contacted today adding that the case was being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code.
In the 7pm incident, the male victim, who was delivering a box of mandarin oranges to a friend, lost RM3,000 and a mobile phone when he was robbed by three knife-wielding men. - Bernama
