KUALA LUMPUR: The win by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) in the Sabah election yesterday is proof of the people’s support and confidence for GRS to helm the state’s administration.
Therefore, the victory by GRS in 38 of the 73 state seats in Sabah should be translated by implementing the mandate given by the people to develop the state.
PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang reminded candidates who won in the election to discharge their responsibilities as elected representatives as expected for the good of everyone’s religion, race and country.
He said PAS would continue to be committed to its role in jointly strengthening unity and safeguarding the welfare of the people.
“Congratulations to GRS which is by Perikatan Nasional (PN), Barisan Nasional (PN) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) for their victory in the Sabah election. To the voters, thank you for the trust given,” he said on Facebook. -Bernama
