STEP into MyTown shopping centre this month, and you’ll be greeted by vintage airplanes, Christmas trees and gift boxes reminiscent of another era.
This nostalgic creation is part of MyTown’s “Christmas Homecoming” celebration.
“We want our shoppers to feel right at home when they walk into MyTown because there is something nostalgic about a Christmas homecoming,” said MyTown’s centre manager Mohd Azhan Che Mat.
He said the shopping centre has lined up a range of exciting activities for shoppers this month.
MyTown is also giving away two holiday tickets worth RM15,000 in the “Fly Away Contest”. To enter the contest, just spend a minimum of RM80.
During a recent Christmas party for the media, Mohd Azhan tore out the ”Boarding Pass” section on a mock airline ticket to mark the beginning of the Christmas celebration and the contest.
Guest were entertained with classic Christmas songs and dance performances at the venue which was transformed into a vintage-style airport terminal.
The activities lined up this month at MyTown includes aerogami workshops, meeting Santa Claus up close and personal, and a “Jolly Hunt” where participants will have to find clues of mystery “selfie” spots in the Christmas exhibit area on the ground floor.
