Enola Holmes starring Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin will be showing on Netflix this September.

Based on the beloved book series by Nancy Springer, Enola Holmes is a dynamic new mystery-adventure that introduces the world’s greatest detective to his fiercest competition yet: his teenage sister. The game is afoot.

Set in 1884 England, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) wakes on the morning of her 16th birthday to find that her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) has disappeared. All she had for clues were an odd assortment of gifts but no apparent reasons for her disappearance.

After a free-spirited childhood, Enola suddenly finds herself under the care of her famous brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin). Both brothers brushed off her worries and are intend to send her away to a finishing school for “proper” young ladies.

Enola, just as stubborn as the rest of the Holmes family, ran away to look for her mother in London. Her adventures get her entangled in a mystery surrounding a young runaway Lord (Louis Partridge).

Enola becomes a super sleuth in her own right and outwitting her brothers as she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set the course of history.

Directed by Harry Bradbeer, Enola Holmes is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, Millie Bobby Brown, and Paige Brown, and written by Jack Thorne.
