Netflix’s live-action adaptation of classic anime Cowboy Bebop has many fans excited and the show finally has a release date.
To drum up anticipation for the series, Netflix released some first-look photos of the cast too.
Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters aka cowboys who are all trying to outrun their past.
Playing the three titular characters are John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine.
Together, the three of them form a scrappy, snarky crew to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals for the right price.
However, they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts catch up with them.
While fans are excited for the adaptation, they are also worried whether it’ll live up to expectations.
Live-action adaptations have been a hit or miss (mostly misses) with viewers. So far, the cast selections seem to hit the right spot for people.
Everyone will be able to make their own conclusions about the adaptation when Cowboy Bebop premieres on November 19, 2021 on Netflix.
