Rihanna once again pushes acceptance for bodies all sizes in her latest Savage X Fenty collection.
Her latest Savage X Boxers collection for men on the website features male models in different body types. This brought many old and new fans much joy and can be seen in the stream of tweets online.
Twitter user Necro-Nome-icon wrote, “I’m built like that. And I was not ready. To see a bunch of people finding someone built like me really attractive. So I’m having some feelings about this at the moment.”
Another user @codyjacobmusic wrote, “Never in my adult life I have seen a male model that has similar body to mine. I feel... almost emotional? Like I finally can buy something I saw and want and KNOW it was made for people like me in mind.”
“Men will be ashamed of having this body not knowing its what we actually love. Just be neat,” wrote @SheLovesArtemis, followed by an OK hand and kiss emoji.
“I just realized I have never seen a male model with a body type close to mine that wasn’t there as a joke. Seeing this made me really happy. They even kept the stretch marks,” wrote @snugiebum5
“Y’all finally got my body shape out here and I’m finna cry. YES DAMN IT ILL TAKE 20!” another user wrote.
“I’m not gonna lie, seeing a male model with a body type similar to mine is very rare, and this positive attention is making me feel better than I would have guessed,” wrote @DNAlienPrime
All of these responses further showed that representation does matter a whole lot.
