HELP students Joy Kua Pei Xin, Soh Hui Yun and Crystal Lee Ji Lum, from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting have good reason to be proud. The threesome were the deserving recipients of the second batch of University of Queensland’s (UQ) scholarships awarded in July this year to outstanding business students.
The three, on scholarship, will continue their final year studies at UQ, Australia, one of the top universities there rated by the QS World University Rankings.
Annually UQ, in recognition of this special relationship, awards scholarships ranging from 25% to 100% to outstanding HELP students who have gained entry to the final year of UQ.
Indeed, HELP University and UQ share a special relationship, the only one in Malaysia that allows second year HELP Business students to enter the final year of UQ, having completed and satisfied the criteria for entry to UQ. This exclusive 2+1 credit transfer programme with UQ is a recognition that HELP University’s business programme is on par with theirs.
