KUALA LUMPUR: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted Mindanao, Philippines at 4.41am today.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement today said the quake occurred at a depth of 457km and its epicentre was 46km west of Tacurong City.
There is no threat of tsunami to Malaysia, the statement added. — Bernama
