THESE photos here are of the soon-to-be-launched all-new Honda City RS i-MMD, snapped during a media preview and very brief test drive in Malacca on Wednesday.
Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd (HMSB) is still not revealing how many variants of the next City will be offered in Malaysia and neither is it revealing a lot about its specifications, other than the following.
Engine capacity and performance: 1.5L i-MMD (intelligent Multi-Mode Drive), with e-CVT (Electric Continuous Variable Transmission), producing 253Nm maximum torque.
Dimension (L x W x H): 4,553mm x 1,748mm x 1,467mm. The all-new City is now longer by 111mm, wider by 54mm and lowered by 10mm than the current model it will soon replace.
Exterior: New LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, new LED taillamps, foglamp garnish, gloss black front grille, carbon patterned front lip, rear bumper with diffuser, gloss black ducktail spoiler, new gloss black door mirrors, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Advanced Features: Remote engine start, electric parking brake.
Safety: Enhanced Honda Sensing – Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Auto High Beam (AHB), Honda LaneWatch.
Comfort feature: Rear ventilation air-conditioning.
There are no interior shots here, since HMSB requested us not to reveal them yet. Together with the specifications, variants and pricing, the company will only announce and reveal them during the launch, soon.
